Rachael is a highly experienced specialist Property Solicitor with over two decades of expertise in residential conveyancing, having started her career in conveyancing in 2006.
Over the course of her career, she has developed an in-depth knowledge of the property sector and has previously led a New Build Department, demonstrating both her technical expertise and leadership within the field. She has worked with clients from a wide range of backgrounds and circumstances and understands that every property transaction is unique. Rachael is committed to delivering a personal, client-focused service, ensuring that each matter is handled with care, attention, and a clear understanding of her clients’ individual needs. Alongside ensuring that every legal aspect of the transaction is managed efficiently and thoroughly, Rachael prides herself on being approachable and accessible. She is always happy to discuss any aspect of the conveyancing process, providing practical advice and reassurance to clients throughout what can often be a complex and significant life event. Outside of her professional role, Rachael balances her busy career with family life, enjoying spending time with her two children and making the most of family time together.
Clare Sheldon
Practice Director
Clare has worked closely with Rachael for several years prior to joining Gent Law, building a strong foundation of experience and collaboration.
In addition to overseeing the day-to-day management of the office, Clare provides valuable support to the firm’s solicitors and clients alike. With over 20 years’ experience in the legal sector, she is highly experienced and able to manage client cases from start to finish, ensuring a smooth and efficient process while offering clear, practical advice throughout each stage of the transaction. Clare remains readily available by phone or email to address any questions or concerns, providing consistent support throughout the conveyancing process. Outside of work, Clare enjoys travelling the world, renovating properties, and growing her own vegetables. She is also a devoted dog mum, bringing the same care and dedication from her personal life into her professional approach.
Tania Zompi
Associate Director & Solicitor
Tania is a Residential Property Solicitor with over 19 years’ experience in residential conveyancing. Since qualifying in 2011,
she has handled a wide range of matters including sales, purchases, transfers of equity and remortgages. She prides herself on being accessible and easy to talk to, guiding clients through their transactions with clarity, reassurance, and a practical, problem‑solving approach. Away from the office, Tania is passionate about fitness. She enjoys regular gym training, particularly Olympic lifting, and spends her free time preparing for Hyrox competitions.
Jodie Unwin
Solicitor
Jodie qualified as a Solicitor in 2012 and has specialised in Residential Conveyancing since 2014. She has extensive experience dealing
with a wide range of property transactions for all sorts of clients including first-time buyers, home movers, investors and developers. Jodie is known for being friendly, approachable and for her ability to explain complex legal matters in a clear and straightforward way. She has built a strong reputation and is proud to have many happy clients who return to her for future transactions and regularly recommend her to friends and family. Outside of work, Jodie is a busy Mum who enjoys making the most of her free time with her family on days out and as many weekends away as she can manage! Charlotte Birks

Charlotte qualified as a Licensed Conveyancer in 2022 and now leads her own team at Gent Law, supporting clients through every stage of the
conveyancing process. Since joining the firm as a graduate, she has excelled in delivering a service built on care, clear communication and meticulous attention to detail. Charlotte is always happy to guide clients through any part of the process, whether they are first-time buyers or experienced movers. Outside of work, she enjoys spending her weekends going for walks with her dog and browsing for houses, combining her love of property with a bit of relaxation.
Lauren Wild
Solicitor
Lauren joined Gent Law in 2025. She qualified as a solicitor in 2017 and, after gaining experience across several areas of property practice,
found her specialism in residential conveyancing in 2023. Since focusing on residential conveyancing, Lauren has worked with a wide range of clients and handled many different types of property transactions. She prides herself on being approachable, supportive, and attentive to her clients’ needs. Lauren enjoys building strong relationships with her clients and guiding them through each stage of the legal process, ensuring they feel informed, confident, and supported from start to finish. By clearly explaining each step, she helps manage expectations and make what can often be a complex process as smooth as possible. Outside of work, Lauren enjoys staying active by going to the gym and spending quality time with her two young children. Whether she’s supporting clients through the ups and downs of their property journey or keeping the daily workload running like clockwork, Stacey is always ready to help. Her eye for detail, calm efficiency, and positive attitude make her a valued and reassuring presence for clients. Stacey likes to keep busy and find joy in the little things. Whether having a well‑deserved pamper session, getting creative in the kitchen with some baking, or unwinding with a good series, she likes to make the most of her downtime. Being a keen gardener and the proud new owner of an allotment, she’s enjoying learning and growing more every day, embracing new hobbies, purpose, and a love for staying active.
Miranda Goodwin

Miranda worked alongside Rachael and Clare for a number of years prior to joining Gent Law.
She is a highly experienced Conveyancing Assistant who provides practical support to clients throughout every stage of their property transaction. Miranda primarily supports our homegrown Licensed Conveyancer, Charlotte, and has extensive knowledge of residential property matters. Her experience and attention to detail help ensure that transactions progress as smoothly and efficiently as possible. Miranda is always approachable and happy to assist with any queries or concerns clients may have throughout the conveyancing process. Outside of work, Miranda enjoys classic cars and attending car shows, as well as working on home improvement projects. Life at home is kept busy with two teenagers and long walks with her excitable Collie.

Oliver Clarke

Oliver is a valued member of the client onboarding and post-completion team, providing support and guidance to clients during the initial stages of their transaction.
Having been with Gent Law for several years, he has developed a strong understanding of both the systems and the conveyancing process, allowing him to assist clients efficiently and confidently. Oliver takes pride in his proactive, ‘can do’ attitude and is committed to delivering a high standard of client care. Known for his positive and approachable manner, he brings a calm and composed approach to his daily work, helping to identify effective solutions and ensure the process runs as smoothly as possible. Outside of his day-to-day role, Oliver is also known as the office baker, often bringing in homemade treats that are much appreciated by the team.

Hayley Edwards

Hayley is a Conveyancing Assistant with over 20 years of experience in a busy residential conveyancing environment.
Having worked on the opposite side of numerous transactions with many of the team at Gent Law, she joined the firm in 2023 and quickly became a valued member of Team Tania, bringing both expertise and enthusiasm from day one. Hayley takes great pride in supporting clients throughout their transactions, always on hand to answer queries and provide reassurance. Her proactive and approachable nature helps ensure each matter progresses as smoothly and efficiently as possible through to completion. Outside of the office, Hayley’s life is all about spending quality time with her family and her little boy, George. Ellie is an experienced Conveyancing Assistant who has developed a strong understanding of the conveyancing process through assisting on a variety of property transactions.
As part of team Jodie, she plays an important role within the firm, ensuring that matters progress smoothly from instruction to completion. She is passionate about supporting clients throughout their transaction, guiding them every step of the way and providing clear, timely communication. Ellie prides herself on delivering excellent customer service and building strong relationships with clients to ensure their experience is as straightforward and stress-free as possible. Outside of work, Ellie enjoys spending time with her fiancé, friends and family and is currently very busy planning her upcoming wedding and renovating her new home.
Fiona Murphy
Conveyancing Assistant
Fiona graduated from Keele University in 2024 with a degree in Law with Criminology and joined Gent Law shortly afterwards.
She is currently developing her expertise in conveyancing in her role as a Conveyancing Assistant and has begun her journey towards qualifying as a conveyancer. Fiona takes great pride in her customer service skills and is always willing to go the extra mile to help. She is a valued member of Team Tania and is always on hand to assist our wonderful clients. Outside of work, Fiona can often be found at her local rugby club, where she manages the women’s team, or spending quality time with her partner and their newest family member, Cherry the greyhound.
Rebecca Dillon

Rebecca is a Conveyancing Assistant, primarily assisting our Practice Director, Clare. Rebecca has experience working in a fast-paced
conveyancing environment and is well versed in providing friendly, supportive service to all our clients. Her previous roles have given her a strong foundation in the conveyancing process from start to finish. Rebecca has also worked in estate agency, meaning she brings valuable knowledge and understanding from all perspectives of the property transaction. Rebecca enjoys guiding and supporting our clients and will always be on hand to help throughout the process.
In her downtime, she enjoys spending time with her family, getting outdoors for long dog walks and loves a round of Trivial Pursuit.
Eryn Burgess
Conveyancing Assistant
Eryn began her career in conveyancing with a strong focus on accuracy, efficiency, and customer service.
As part of the post-completion team, she helps ensure the final stages of each transaction run smoothly and are completed on time. Eryn also assists with the onboarding of our clients, with opening files and supporting teams during the initial stages. With a background in customer service, Eryn understands the importance of clear communication and recognising each client’s individual needs. She is committed to providing a professional and reliable service while continuing to develop her knowledge and experience within the conveyancing field. Outside of work, Eryn enjoys spending time with friends and family, a bit of retail therapy, and has a strong passion for modified cars and the car scene.
Ella Weeks
Conveyancing Assistant
Ella is one of our newest recruits, having graduated from Keele University with a Law Degree in 2025.
Having previously worked in a civil litigation role, Ella was eager to learn the ropes with Residential Conveyancing for a more client centred approach. She now works alongside Ellie in Team Jodie and is keen to expand her knowledge in residential conveyancing. Ella enjoys assisting with matters from instruction through to completion and helping to ensure clients are kept informed and supported throughout their whole transaction. Outside of work, Ella enjoys spending time with family and friends, getting outdoors and travelling to new places. She recently purchased her first home and has now finished renovating it, which has only further strengthened her interest in property.
